How is everything connected power wise? Sounds like there's a ground loop.

Generally to avoid getting ground loops everything in use must share the same ground.

basically what you want to do is run everything from the same power outlet. Anything works. I'd recommend getting a good power conditioner with enough outputs to hook up all of your music stuff. But a cheap power bar with surge protection will do. As long as you can run all of the music stuf from the same power outlet.

Potentially (and only if the above doesn't help) the power supply on your PC could be the problem. I had to replace the power supply on my brand new G5. THe machine worked fine but the noise on it's audio outs and all USB and FIrewire connected audio devices was intolerable. Replacing the power supply helped a bit. I also had to disable processor idling and that killed the noise completely.

But I don't think you should worry about power supplies and CPU idling yet. Try the easy stuff first. Let me know how it goes.
