Sorry about your problem, also I have no knowledge about the PA's HD or how to
swap etc., but have some links as I do look in the direction of PA2X Pro.

Always sad and not any fun when such things happens, and we have a say here:
It's not the question about if the HD will fail, but more about when it stop function.
Guess this will be more sheldom now when SSD disks take over the boot and OS storage.

Good luck, hope it's easy to restore, and a HD should not be hard to find if it's a
common drive from 2002 or that time. Any specs in the manual?
