Can anybody help me with some 3 questions on the XP30 operation? The lousy ROLAND standar of answering with "that is in the manual" is about to force me selling the otherwise wonderful board! So much for hi-tech support!!So here it goes:
1) In performance mode (say 4 different patches used alternatedly in one music) I want to define a different DECAY rate for only one of the 4 patches. The DECAY slider is useless in this case, because I am busy playing and cannot spare a hand for that. Is there any way to do it (i.e. make that particular patch only sound for a little while longer after I release the keys)?
2) When I am using a single patch for playing, how do I adjust the volume of (let's say) the right half of the keyboard a little louder than the volume of the keys on the left side of the keyboard? In other words, how do I "split" volume adjustment over the keyboard for one single patch?
3) Finally, I am mad about the patch "purple spin". The problem is that it only sounds that nice in patch mode (i.e. used isolatedly). Whenever I try to use it along with some other patch in performance mode, it sounds totally lame, very different from the way it sounds in patch mode. Is there any way to mend it?
