Ive recently bought a Roland JV1010 and Im having a few problems using the
thing in "Performance" mode.

I've downloaded a "Studio Module" for Cubase to allow me to get access to
all of those lovely 1000+ patches whilst in performance mode and up to a
point I've got the thing working. (I.e. I can select any patch and assign it
to a track and it changes the sound on the appropriate midi channel)

However my problem arises when I say work on the same song the next day.
Firstly the JV1010 has not retained the patches that were assigned to the
performance (I've not done any saving on the 1010 so this is to be
expected). In Cubase the inspector is showing the correct instrument name,
bank number and patch number and name but the only way I can get the JV1010
to play the correct sounds is to go into each midi track and reselect the
instrument (obviously wrong!). Im not sure if it's a JV1010 problem of the
downloaded studio module that's the problem or perhaps something else within
Cubase that's obvious that I'm missing
