Are you guys feeding the JV directly into the Line-In of your soundcard, or via a mixer? In theory I guess this shouldn't make any difference in sound quality?

What sample rate do you recommend? I am using 44.1.

Also, can anyone share with me an effective way of hooking up the JV to Cubase, so that you can record in midi (hearing the actual JV souns on playback) and convert to audio files when ready? I'm trying to avoid buying extra midi break-out boxes etc.
