Hi

I would strongly recommend the XP-60; I own one myself. The decay-noise problem exists, but it is not a problem. Test it in the store before you buy to see if you are bothered by it.

It is my opinion that this problem has been too much focused on. After all, it is a very minor problem. But some of the people who have talked most about this issue on this BBS, are known Korg-fundamentalists..

The XP-60 was released in 1997-1998 as a 61-key version of the XP-80.

The reason for the low prices on XP-60s these days, is that it is out of production. It has already become unavailable here in Norway, so if you want one you should act fast....

I do not know Rolands thinking behind this, as the XP-80 is still being produced...

Hope this was helpful.

Stig
