I use Cakewalk Pro Audio, which is a computer based sequencer for midi and audio. What I do is record each track as midi first then record the synth into the computer. I use to use multitimbral (where you use different midi channels for each sound) setups for midi before, but now I just record the track in as audio and don't fiddle with midi channel setup. I do one track at a time. I've been playing with keyboards since 91 and it did take a little while to figure things out, but now it is easy. I just wish I could get better synths.
