Hi, I'm new to this forum. I'm considering a xp-60. But I read a lot about the noise-thing. Well maybe this can be helpfull.
I read somewhere (newsgroup, review, don't know anymore) about the phenomenon.
The PCM-samles are stored in 16 bit format. The older XP's (50/80) have 16-bit D/A-convertors. But the new line of XP's have
"better" 18-bit D/A-convertors. You should think that this will lead to an improvement. However the samples are still stored in 16-bit format. Somehow this leads to problems.
