Spent a few minutes playing the SD-5! It's going to be fine for my needs. It was kind of like when I bought a 55 Chevy a few years ago. As soon as I started it, I remembered the familiar engine sound and feel from when I drove one in college almost 40 years ago. The SD-5 even has the same 22 watt amplifiers and speakers as my old MS-60's. It even fits in the MS-60 bag, which was made with a compartment for the 13 note pedalboard.

This puts me in familiar territory. I'll try the Midjay I got from Don this week-end. I'm thinking of taking the Midjay to my Sunday jam sessions to use when a drummer isn't there. I'll use the C-1, Midjay and Electro on my right hand.

I'm happy with the trade with Jim (Zuki) and I hope he get's things worked out to his satisfaction.

I may look at getting the conventional 13 note bass pedal rig which can be used with a Midjay and guitar (I think). You play the bass root note with your left foot and use your right toe and heel to trigger minors, 7ths, etc. Got a double neck Ovation I'd like to use it with for patio jobs (Don, will the Midjay work that way?).

Still not comfortable with the new Ketron distributor and some questionable sales activities (in my mind), but love the equipment and feel like I did OK by securing it from friends (Jim and Don).

I'll let you know how things go, but know things will work out fine for me!

Russ,
