Haven't tried it yet. I'm all set to buy the NP-30, and at $299 it's a steal. However, the Williams Encore offers much more for just $100 more than the NP-30.
I wouldn't be using the Williams for gigs, it would simply be used as "bang on digital" but more importantly it would be used as a midi controller to a new Roland SonicCell. I figured at $399.., having 88 weighted keys, and pitch and mod wheels.., (those two options are well worth the extra $100 when compared to the NP-30)
