So was I, Scott. I was unaware that the 'no flash photography' rule was in effect.
Curious to hear which of Mannilow's tunes Angelo performed and which Yamaha styles were used for them.
I played most of his popular hits like, Mandy, Could It Be Magic, Copacabana, Weekend In New England, Even Now, It's A Miracle, et al. I think it was 13 songs total (a little over an hour).
Angelo, did you perform your entire show at the keyboard or did you utilize some midi backup sequences as well? Anxious to hear details.
It was mostly midi files that I had cleaned up and polished. Some styles were used, like the movie Ballad style on "Ready To Take A Chance Again".
Btw, what special song did Angelo perform in tribute to the victims of the horrific fire?The song was "Life Will Go On" from Manilow's 1980 "Barry" album. The words were very appropriate and very necessary...
