I have listened to PA80 and based on simply listening to the kind of the styles and sounds, I would suggest getting a Tyros or Genesys. I have SK880 keyboard and I can tell you that it beats PA80. My keyboard has 64 notes polyphony; and I use very complex layering and many tracks. But not once did the keyboard drop any note. I understand that many PA80 fans like the keyboard and my bias is that I am big fan of acoustic sounds. Korg usually does better job on synth sounds. If the fact that PA-80 is based on Triton engine can give any indication, it is that PA-80 strength lies in its synth sounds and not acoustic sounds.

I repeat that my bias is that I value acoustic sounds more than synth sounds. PA80 fans, please take my comments in this context for I am not putting down the keyboard.
