I've just been reading a review of the V-Synth in Sound-on-Sound. The reviewer was very enthusiastic but I couldn't see what all the fuss was about. Someone likened it to a player's keyboard but it did not come across as that. Monotimbral - no layering, only one midi channel, and 24 note polyphony which apparently drops to eight under a heavy load. And it seems to do a lot without doing very much at all. I think I'll stick to my PSR740.
