For sheer coverage and volume - the Mackie 500's, but if the size and 100lb weight is not practical then ....
Mackie 300's will give you a wider high end dispersion, while the EV's will have a little more mid presence. Both are good choices, but in the ultimate decision - size will play a factor, right? If it's NO problem - I recommend the Mackie's (300's)
The 500's are clearly better, and louder, and bigger, but sheese - WAAAAAAAY bigger !
It takes TWO people to move them !
