hey donnacha, a question for you if i may? wi am thinking of getting one of these keyboards, but as yet none are available in australia...what is it like as far as feel and the weighting of the keys? is it graduated, ie, do the keys get lighter as you go up the board? as far as your midi goes...firstly the only drivers you should need would be USB and are not needed for XP, manufacturers usually only include them for windows 98 and earlier users..they may have some template driver files etc etc but these are not needed for midi transmission..just set the midi input on sonar to the midi input port of your audigy card? (which model do you have?) and the midi output for your device that is
"making the noise" in this case the soundfonts available with the audigy or in other words the audigy synth section..the keyboard will automatically transmit messages from its out, usually on channel 1.the audigy is where the input comes in, and ergo, its where you should direct sonar to look for midi messages to then transmits these to the audigy card and you should hear something.
hope that helps... and i would really like to hear about the keyboard
